The following notes should help you find your way around, but don’t hesitate to email us if you have any difficulty.
1. How do I change my password?
Click on your picture or name on the right of screen. Then click ‘Password & Email’ in the middle of the screen. Enter your new password and click ‘Save Changes’.
2. How do I edit my profile
Click on your picture or name on the right of screen. Then click ‘Edit Profile’ in the middle of the screen. Answer which ever questions you choose, then click ‘Save Changes’. Your changes are immediately visible to others, and you can make further changes as often as you like.
3. How do I upload a picture for my profile
Click on your name on the right of screen. Then click ‘Change Picture’ in the middle of the screen. Click ‘Browse’ to select your image on your computer. Then click ‘upload image’. You would do best to use a ‘square’ image of yourself, and one that is saved in .jpg, .gif or .png format – preferably a low resolution (small file size) to speed the process of uploading.
4. How do I find someone’s profile?
Use the navigation menu across the top of these locked pages – go to ‘Profiles’. On this page you can search for a profile using the search field at the top of the page. Just type part of the person’s name and click search.
5. How do I listen to a talk?
Use the navigation menu across the top of these locked pages – go to ‘Talks’ (if you do not see the talk you want listed, then you may use the ‘filter’ to search for it). When you click on the title of the talk you will come to a page with an on-line player, a download link, and a copy of the relevant bible passage and talk outline.
6. I find the scroll bars confusing, is there a way to remove them?
Yes. You can view these pages independent of the main QCCA site – http://bmwn.qcca.org.au – and you may find this easier to navigate.
7. Can I change my user-name?
Your user-name is the email address you gave to BMWN. You can’t change your user-name yourself. But we can change it for you – just ask.
